Humanistic Spirituality Mission
The mission of Humanistic Spirituality is to inspire purposeful living and compassion for our human condition through contemplative practices for self-transformation.
Our library of video introspective guides, audios introspective guides, and written introspective guides, cover a wide range of experiential therapeutic and psycho-spiritual teachings that focus on strategies for finding inner peace and spiritual awareness. Our offerings highlight various practices that help enhance spiritual development and promote purposeful living. Some of our topics and themes include transforming difficult emotions, love relationships, spirituality and prayer, the nature of healing, and finding inspiration in our lives.
This site offers free access to over 200 videos and downloadable audios featuring experiential counseling sessions, teachings, writings, dialogues with cutting-edge thinkers, and guided meditations. We offer online workshops and continuing education for LMFTs and LCSWs in the state of California, and are also approved by the National Association of Social Workers for continuing education hours in all states except for Michigan, N. Carolina, Ohio, and W. Virginia. Click on ABOUT to find out more detailed information on CEU’s, developing psychological and spiritual awareness, and integrating various practices that increase inner peace, well-being, more deeply connected relationships, and purposeful living.
The resources on this site focus on helping the individual develop spiritual awareness and discernment with regard to inner peace, relationships, and surrounding environment. The inquiry and personal integration practices attached to the videos are truly what will engender realizations and transformations that rarely happen without these kinds of contemplative practices. Our mission is to help individuals interested in spiritual development and deeper psychological understanding to integrate the applicable exercises into their lives and relationships, not simply to watch the videos and have an intellectual understanding. This is especially true for counselors who use this site. As a model, most of the “guests” or “clients” featured in dialogue with Robert on the videos are actually practicing LMFTs or psychologists, and are courageously sharing their personal experiences as a model for other therapists, and anyone interested, in personal or spiritual development and purposeful living.
